Dr. Andrei Locke

BDSc (Hons) (Melb), Grad.Dip.Clin.Dent, MDSc (Perio) (Melb), FRACDS (Perio), FPFA

Andrei completed his Bachelor of Dental Science degree with Honours in 1999 from the University of Melbourne, and was awarded the E. B. Nicolls Prize in Dental Materials Science. He worked as a general dentist in both metropolitan and rural private practices before returning to Melbourne University to complete his specialist Masters degree in Periodontics in 2004, as well as becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the Special Stream of Periodontics. He was awarded a scholarship from the ITI (International Team for Implantology) to complete a fellowship year in 2005 in Bonn, Germany before his returning to Melbourne in 2005 to specialist periodontics practice. Andrei establish the Glen Iris rooms, The Perio Group in 2009. He also consults rurally in Shepparton, is a demonstrator and past examiner of the Specialist Periodontics training program at Melbourne University, was a Specialist Consultant at Monash Medical Centre for ten years, and lectures widely both nationally and internationally.

Dr. Mark Farmer

BSc BDSc DCD(Perio) FRACDS(Perio)

Mark completed his Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Dental Science in 2000, and post-graduate specialist Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontics in 2010, all from the University of Melbourne. He become a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the Special Stream of Periodontics in the same year. Mark has worked as a specialist periodontist in both rural and metropolitan practices and joined The Perio Group in 2015. Mark is a tutor and demonstrator at The University of Melbourne for the Doctor of Dental Surgery, and Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy students. Mark lectures widely throughout Australia and has recently completed an MBA through Melbourne University.
