YOUR FIRST VISIT 

The initial visit to The Perio Group will be a consultation appointment, so please allow approximately 30-60 minutes for this consultation.  During this visit you will have an in depth medical and dental health history taken and an examination to measure for bone loss, loose teeth, bite, and other signs of periodontal disease. The treating Periodontist will then discuss treatment options and provide a detailed treatment plan report to the patient, along with a written report to the referring dental practitioner. We appreciate you arriving 5 minutes prior to your appointment to maximise the time allocated for your consultation. 

To make the first visit with us an easy process we require following information prior to your appointment:

• A letter from your referrer, this may be a general dentist or specialist dentist. Some dentists will provide this directly to us.
• Any recent x-rays or scans. As with referrals these may be sent directly to us.
• Our Patient Information Form which can either be sent to you or can be  downloaded by clicking the link.  This is a detailed form and may take up to 10 minutes to complete.
